This is a shot of the sculpture Flower in the Crannied Wall located at Taliesin in Spring Green, Wisconsin. This is a copy of the same sculpture which is found in Frank Lloyd Wright's Dana Thomas house. This sculpture spent many years outside at Taliesin and suffered some damage. I shot this image while on a tour of Taliesin. It was late afternoon and the sun was streaming down the staircase where the sculpture is now located. It was a very high contrast scene which was tricky to shoot. I decided to go for a sepia tone, which actually isn't much different than what it looked like in color since the stone is very yellow/brown, as is the sculpture.
