This image shows some of the wonderful details of the 1936 Auburn 852 Phaeton designed by legendary automobile designer Gordon Buehrig. When new, the car sold for $1725 (in 1936 dollars). This image shows the chrome exhaust pipes which come out of the engine compartment and dip through the front left fender. The chrome pipes, coupled with the chrome air vents create interesting reflections. My goal when working with this image was to create more of a poster look rather than a straight photograph.
